5 AXIS AUTOMATIC GRINDER
TGT Genius 5 axes is a state of the art 5 axes CNC creep feed grinding machine suitable for grinding plunger grooves. Some of the special features of the machine are as follows:
- This machine is built on a concrete base – Hydropol ®- imported from Europe which has about 6 times higher vibration dampening properties when compared with epoxy resin (polymer) concrete which has already about 6 times higher vibration dampening properties when compared with regular cast iron. In addition, this gives very high thermal stability for the machine structure.
- Machine has got the component swiveling kinematics, which enables the grinding of grooves in a single axis movement. As a process, this is more accurate when compared with wheel swiveling kinematics wherein the groove is ground by interpolating two CNC axes.
- Moving vane holder design enables accurate indexing of the plunger and intern gives very high consistency in the linear dimensions on the grooves. The plunger is continuously located in the vane holder which reduces the cycle time.
Additional Features
- Parametric programs - (Menu based) for easy data entry for different variety of plunger will be provided with the machine.
- Machine cross slide is equipped with linear glass scale which gives high absolute accuracy on the dimensions.
- Machine slide elements – LM guide ways and ball screws – are double protected by the bellows to protect against any chips and particles entry.
- Machine is compact in size though maintenance friendly with good looking aesthetics.
- Machine is provided with fully enclosed guard with front sliding door.
- Fire extinguisher unit is provided as an optional accessory.
